On May 17th, 2008 The Swingin' Vermont Big Band opened the Stowe Mountain Lodge at Spruce Peak performing at a benefit for the Stowe Education Fund. We are very honored to have been the chosen ensemble to open this fine hotel. Jon Penick flew in from Chicago just to sing with the band. Taryn Noelle also crooned.
